I learned to sew at an early age, and like my own mother, enjoyed sewing special Christmas and Easter dresses for my daughters. The colors and the designs of fabrics have always intrigued me, leading me to make numerous quilt tops – but only one finished quilt! More recently I have been re-exploring hand weaving, again focusing on color. The process of weaving – the over/under, back and forth – is almost meditative.
